We had many of them floating around my home when I was growing up. And I still have one of the little jewelry boxes that I covered and lined in two colorways of a VERY '80s design. I was nine and developed my own pattern with tabs to prevent cracking at the corners.
All of that unrealized talent...ah well - bygones.
Back to wallpaper... As much as I love it, I can't put it on my own walls. I've always preferred paint. But spaces like these make me reconsider my inclinations...
